How is this program run?

This program is running online.

What will I do?

Students will develop a 3-minute pitch using the iAccelerate ‘Pitching to YourAudience’ template. Students will be given a choice of 3 topics to pitch and will work through the steps in the module, to develop a value proposition for their topic and slides. Students will send a recording of their pitch to iAccelerate to receive feedback and UOWx recognition.

This module has been developed by iAccelerate as part of its UOW Entrepreneurs program and is funded by the NSW Government’s Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Skills (TIES) grant. 

How will I benefit?

Student will develop:

  • An understanding of the fundamentals of pitching, including how to develop an engaging pitch;
  • An increased confidence in public speaking, communication and presenting to an audience.

How do I apply?

Enrol into the UOW Entrepreneurs site and complete the module online.

Are there any special requirements for this role?

There are no special requirements.

Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition

To receive UOWx Recognition, you must complete the following:

  • An engaged student will need to complete all components of the module and upload their pitch.
  • A highly engaged student will need to complete all components of the module, upload their pitch and complete a reflective activity.
