For those who know where they're going
Selected UOW Business degrees offer the opportunity to combine a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in less time than it would take to complete them separately, and for less cost. Get where you’re going faster when you complete your undergraduate and postgraduate degree in one with an Integrated Master’s program from UOW.
Integrated Master’s explained
This advanced four-year study option combines an undergraduate degree and a postgraduate degree to allow you to advance and broaden your business knowledge, giving you a competitive advantage in the job market. The degrees are completed consecutively so that after successful completion of the bachelor’s degree, you will receive a transfer of course credits that will allow you to complete your master’s degree in a shorter time, and for less cost.
After completing your undergraduate degree, you will have an opportunity to study your postgraduate degree at Wollongong or the Sydney CBD campus.
The following 3-year bachelor’s degrees can be combined with a 1-year Master of Business or Master of Business Analytics:
- Bachelor of Economics and Finance
- Bachelor of Business (Accountancy)
- Bachelor of Business (Business Analytics)
- Bachelor of Business (Business Law)
- Bachelor of Business (Economics)
- Bachelor of Business (Finance)
- Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning)
- Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management)
- Bachelor of Business (International Business)
- Bachelor of Business (Management)
- Bachelor of Business (Marketing)
- Bachelor of Business (Public Relations)
- Bachelor of Business (Sports Marketing and Management)
- Bachelor of Business (Supply Chain Management)
Entry requirements
Integrated Master’s programs are open to both domestic and international students. Entry requirements are the same as those for the corresponding undergraduate degrees. See information under the Admissions, Key dates, and Fees heading on the course pages linked above.
After successful completion of the bachelor’s degree, you will receive a transfer of course credits that will allow you to complete your Master’s degree in one year (or part-time equivalent).
Fees
You will save time and money when you complete an integrated master’s program at UOW:
- Four subjects that you complete in your bachelor’s degree will count towards your master’s degree, allowing you to complete your studies earlier, and for less cost.
- The tuition fee you pay for your master’s degree is locked in at the rate offered when you start the program, allowing you avoid any price rises that might have occurred in your three years of undergraduate study.
Domestic students
Your bachelor degree will be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), meaning that you pay a student contribution amount towards the cost of your course. The amount you pay is calculated based on the subject cluster and the Equivalent Full-time Study Load (EFTSL) value of the subject. For information regarding student contribution amounts, please refer to the UOW Fees website.
Your master’s degree will not automatically be eligible for a CSP and therefore will be full-fee paying*. You can still defer your tuition fees via FEE-HELP, a loan scheme offered by the Federal Government for all Australian citizens. Repayments are automatically deducted from your salary by the Australian Taxation Office once your income reaches a certain amount. This amount changes every year. See StudyAssist for repayment details.
*Depending on availability, you may be issued a CSP offer for your Master’s degree. Please see this page for further information on fees and payment options.
International students
International student fees are available on the UOW International Student Fees website. You will find tuition fees displayed by degree for both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework.
