Overview

Combining expertise in engineering and mathematics, this double degree will also develop skills in management, communication, problem-solving and statistics. These two integral areas will ensure you graduate with unique and invaluable skills, opening up opportunities for a dynamic and exciting career.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) is a four-year degree with the option to major in your chosen specialisation. You will have access to fully equipped laboratories and the latest computer-aided software used in modern industrial workplaces. This degree also includes 12 weeks of industry experience providing valuable practical training.

Throughout the Bachelor of Mathematics you will be equipped with highly transferable skills in problem-solving, data analysis, probability and variability, mathematical modelling, logistics and logic. You can also take advantage of opportunities on offer including scholarships from corporate partners, summer scholarships, and access to programs offered by the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) ACE Network.

See the course handbook for more information.

A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately. Having a double degree will give you a competitive advantage in a crowded job market.
