Overview

English for Tertiary Studies (ETS18) is an 18-week English language course that allows you to improve your English to gain direct entry to most diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses without having to sit an IELTS test.  

This is a skills-based course that will provide you with a thorough introduction to the educational requirements for tertiary study. You will focus on study skills, language development, university-level research, and essay writing. 

You will participate in 20-22 hours per week of classroom tuition. 

This course is offered by our pathway provider, UOW College Australia. You will receive a quality education at our English Language Centre, a proud member of English Australia, accredited by TEQSA and quality endorsed by NEAS Australia.

    UOW College English courses can be packaged with UOW Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees, UOW College Foundation Studies and/or Diploma courses. There are many advantages to packaged programs, including when a package includes English, no further external English test (such as IELTS) will be necessary before beginning your next course at UOW College or UOW.
