Overview

The Master of Engineering delivers expert skills and applied competencies required for the professional engineer. Designed to train and enhance professional practice, advance technical and specialist skills, this degree provides an opportunity to put theory into practice with applied projects and research.

Throughout the Master of Engineering you will gain communication, strategic, and project management skills essential to the practicing engineer.

The Master of Engineering is professionally accredited by Engineers Australia, apart from the Asset Management, and Management specialisations.

Fee subsidised places available

UOW is offering Commonwealth supported places (CSPs) for all of our postgraduate coursework degrees in 2025. This means the Australian government will subsidise your tuition fees by up to 75%. To be eligible for this fee subsidy, you must meet the following criteria: Be a domestic student, i.e. an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident of Australia or a permanent Australian Humanitarian visa holder.
