Overview

The Master of Research with a specialisation in Chemistry comprises research and research training, requiring students to complete 96 credit points of subjects. This is a dual award degree between Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and the University of Wollongong (UOW).

Student will complete the first semester or session at their home university, and then travel to the partner university for two semesters or sessions (1 year), and then return to their home university for the last semester of session. Through their studies student will develop expert discipline specific knowledge in chemistry and also develop their research skills in the development of a thesis.

Completion of the Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry, qualifies graduates for membership of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
