Cognitive assessments

We are not open to referrals at this time.  As we are a training clinic our capacity to provide assessments can change from year to year.  

We offer cognitive assessments for the following:

• Specific Learning Disorder
• ADHD
• Cognitive Ability (eg. Intellectual Disability or Giftedness)

The assessment will be conducted across 2-3 appointments, scheduled in one-week intervals.  The initial assessment interview (1-2 hours) is to gather background information and the reason for the assessment.  The first cognitive testing session (~3.5 hours) involves completing several psychometric tests in one session.  A second cognitive testing session is made and will be utilised if additional testing is required.

A feedback session is arranged after the report is complete (up to 6-8 weeks after assessment). Final payment must be made at this appointment.

We do not provide diagnostic assessments for Autism. 
When the waitlist is open we are only able to accept referrals from the Illawarra / Shoalhaven area.
