- Can I use NDIS funding at Northfields Psychology Clinic?
- Can I claim Medicare rebate or use a Mental Health Plan?
- What if I don’t want my sessions recorded?
- How long is the wait time?
- Is the clinic open all year?
We are not able to provide therapy via NDIS funding as we are not registered to provide this service.
As services are delivered by provisional psychologists they are not eligible to register as a Medicare provider. We are also unable to provide treatment under workcover plans or private health cover.
As we are a training clinic all sessions are recorded for training and development purposes. If you have a specific reason you do not want your sessions recorded please advise the provisional psychologist at intake, however we cannot guarantee we can proceed with therapy / assessment. Note that group programs are not recorded.
Wait time varies across the year based on the University semester. During peak times we may close the waitlist. Please contact the clinic for further information.
We usually have a closure period of approximately 3 weeks at the end of the year. We may close for a week during other University breaks.
