US President Donald Trump

Professor Markus Wagner can talk about US President Donald Trump, US politics, constitutional law and trade tariffs. Professor Wagner is an internationally recognised expert in international economic law and governance, international peace and security, as well as US and Australian constitutional law. He is the Director of the Transnational Law and Policy Centre at UOW.


National Close The Gap Day – Thursday 20 March

Dr Summer May Finlay is available for interviews about National Close The Gap Day (Thursday 20 March 2025). Associate Professor Finlay is a Yorta Yorta woman and Senior Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences. She has over 20 years of experience working in and with Indigenous organisations, tertiary sector, local, state and federal governments. Associate Professor Finlay’s work focuses on Indigenous health service delivery, policy and overcoming health disparities.


Neurodiversity Celebration Week

Associate Professor Amanda Webster can talk about Neurodiversity Celebration Week (Monday 17 March – Sunday 23 March). Associate Professor Webster is the Academic Program Director for UOW’s Autism postgraduate programs. Her research focuses on creating inclusive learning environments to support people on the autism spectrum.  


World Water Day – Saturday 22 March

Dr Melinda Waterman can discuss World Water Day (Saturday 22 March) which is focusing on glacier preservation. Dr Waterman was in Antarctica in January and can talk about the importance of glaciers, the impact of climate change and about what she observed during her most recent fieldtrip. Dr Waterman is a research fellow with the ARC Securing Antarctica's Environmental Future program at UOW.
