Scholarships and awards are available for eligible HDR candidates at UOW. These scholarships include annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs.

UOW / UoS Joint Dual Degree PhD Scholarship - Privacy-Preserving Information Linkage

The purpose of the scheme is to foster international collaboration by enabling PhD students to spend time at Surrey and Wollongong, with supervisors from both institutions.

An opportunity is available for a PhD candidate to undertake research focused on improving alcohol and other drug treatment in Australia.

UOW is offering a Domestic PhD scholarship that will be completed within the School of Psychology. The project will be conducted as part of Meaningful Outcomes focused on improving substance use treatment. The scholarship would need to start by the end of August 2024.

iPREP Biodesign: Connecting PhD Researchers to Industry

The iPREP Biodesign program is a newly established initiative between iPREPWA and Perth Biodesign. The program networks across the Graduate Research Schools of The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame Australia, Macquarie University, CQUniversity Australia, University of Wollongong Australia and Western Sydney University.
